Great Christmas Tree Tour: Terri Brisbin

The personalized ornaments (2012 and 2014) – each year I order a personalized ornament with all of our names on it....The 2012 ornament was our family before grandchildren....and the 2014 is the first one with our FIRST grandchild’s name on it – we welcomed Alexis to her first Christmas in the Brisbin family and on our tree! I’ll be ordering a new one this week with our newest addition, Sydney Grace Brisbin who arrived just 10 days ago!

The tree is from 2014 – last year’s after we all decorated it! We also collect Disney ornaments each year, too.

The reindeer are from years ago – I collected them after I got married...Rodney and Rhonda Reindeer were first (for me and hubby), then assorted other sizes and genders as sons and then daughters-in-law/fiancees joined the family.... I guess I’m going to have to find more of them now with the TWO new grandbabies in the family!

Our longest tradition began changing last year and will change again this year – each Christmas morning, all the kids waited at the top of the stairs while hubby and I went downstairs into the family room to see if Santa had visited. We would ooh and ahh as we lit up the tree and then took photos as the kids paused on the landing before racing to the tree to find their presents.

This year, with two new Brisbin families beginning, we’ll have to figure out a new tradition.....

Eons ago, seven ancient deities trapped the goddess of chaos under a ring of stones. But now, in the darkest days of the 13th century, Chaela threatens to escape, leaving the fate of all humanity in the hands of two young lovers...

The daughter of a wealthy Orkney trader, Ran Sveinsdottir's life is turned upside down when an accident at sea unleashes powers within her, which she never knew she had. Those powers have drawn her into the battle of two warring factions: the Warriors of Destiny, whom she knows in her heart to be noble, and a menacing army holding her father captive. Her hope for survival is in the hands of Soren, the man she once loved, the man who betrayed her, and the only man she can trust in a raging battle against evil.
