Great Christmas Tree Tour: *lizzie starr

It's Cheryl's wonderful Christmas tree tour!

When I first said I'd join in again, I had no plans to do a tree this year. In fact, I didn't much care. But then my brother bought this lawn decoration. (Sorry about the fuzzy photography.)

Not that we've decorated much, but unlike last year, the bro feels good and has the energy. So we have the doxie and lights strung along the deck. That's outside.

My sister and I were in charge of inside. In our packed house, I found space for a small tree. And a few other decorations. Like an old stuffed Santa my brother loves. That little dark thing in the corner isn't a penguin... it's Darth Vader making a snowball of the Death Star. Of course a holiday doxie. Behind him is a Nativity...one our mom put out every year. It's under a cake dome because, well, cat.

The tree is decorated with ornaments that express each of us. Batman for John. Painted pony ornaments and blown glass balls that Jennifer made. Stars (of course) and fairies for me. I'm already thinking that next year we'll need three trees! That will be spectacular.

So...Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Enjoy the rest of the tree tour and know your tree is the best!

Stop by my website lizziestarr.com and check out the books in my library. There's fantasy, romance and happy endings to be found there. And take a look at my newest venture: Journals!

*lizzie always made up games and stories to keep her company. So, a cunning witch lived in Grampa’s weather research station and was only held at bay by waving a certain weed. An ancient road grader morphed into a boat carrying wild adventurers to islands filled with fierce lions and dangerous cannibals, which really looked a lot like sheep. Now, filled with fantasy, love, and romance with a sparkling twist, the stories of her imagination swirl their way into the mundane world. When *lizzie must return to a more routine life, she’s *the Lunch Lady* at a private school. Author and lunch lady~~what a combination!

  1. Oh wow you did decorate quite a bit. The only thing I did way put up a small tree that the cat has knocked off of the table and put some lights outside. I do have a lighted mother and baby dear that I put in the front yard.
