Wow!

You guys blew me away this week! You know how to get into a drawing big time! Some of you have invited several friends, thank you! And my newsletter list has grown by leaps & bounds in the past several days.

Welcome to:
Patricia
Sandy
Becka
Regina
Luisa
Cathie
Lauren
Linda
Pam
Paula
Colleen
Joye

I hope you'll all check in often. I usually hold at least one drawing every month.
And here's some cool news for all you NICK LOVERS!
I happen to have a UK copy of NICK ALL NIGHT sitting here on the shelf by my desk, so I am going to give a second place prize with this September drawing. I will make sure I send you an original cover along with the signed book, too.

So many of you expressed an interest in Nick that I thought I should spread him around as much as I can. LOL

  3. I love Nick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really want to read his book.

Oh, and I got a shipment of books today from eharlequin's theme collection (Men Made In America)...the Nebraska book was A Husband by Any Other Name by Cheryl St. John. Interesting cover...man in cowboy hat with basket of apples.

  7. Hi Cheryl,
Hope you remember me. I got a bulletin on "myspace.com" from a friend who was sending people to your blog site. That's how I got here. Thanks to Melissa for re-aquanting me with you. It's been far too long.

  8. Hi Ginger! I love Melissa! She's working at winning this drawing big time.

I tried to email you a couple of times, but had an old addy. Have wondered how you are. I haven't been to RT for a couple of years. I'll be in Dallas for RWA next summer, how about you?

  11. Cheryl,
I would love to go to RWA but I've had to let my membership lapse along with every other luxury I had. I'm living in TN, taking care of my 4-year-old autistic grandson. I'm struggling right, but if I win the lottery, you'll see me. If not, I'll send you a picture so you won't forget me. *lol*
You can reach me at mizging2003@yahoo.com or ginger@gingersimpson.com ... at least I still have my website and my sense of humor. No one can take either from me. :)
    Hugz,
    Ginger
P.S. Melissa has been such an inspiration to me. She's been a number one fan and supporter and I would love nothing better than to see her win whatever it is she's trying to win here. :)

  12. Big {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}} Ginger!

I have a motto printed out and placed a couple of places in my home. You can modify it to suit you:

One hundred years from now it will not matter
what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had, or what my clothes were like.
But the world may be a little better
Because I was important in the life of a child.

Mine says things like "it will not matter if my book was written, if the dishes were done, if my nais were polished" ... you get the drift.

  13. Jennifer, that is one of the few books I am missing so now I know visually what to look for as I have some of that older series.

Yes Nick is a hunk! Drool! My nephew Nick takes after his daddy who was pretty hot in his day; is it something about that name??

  14. I went right to Nick & forgot to welcome all the newcomers! Apologies all around!

Becka said it short, sweet & to the point! DITTO!

I work with pre-schoolers and had 2 last yr who were autistic. Hang in there; a Sense of Humor is a God-send!

  15. What a wonderful thing to say, Mz. G! I'm deeply touched. Friends, if you haven't been to Ginger's site you should check it out. Her books are very good. I love her Native American historicals! And she has a fantastic newsletter filled with all kinds of goodies including a contest. *g*
Cheryl, I'm glad Mz. G came over so ya'll could chat again. :-)
