September Drawing!

I told you I was cooking up something good--and I did! Normally the drawings I hold don't require anything of you except a comment to my blog. Some authors ask you to answer questions about their books, etc.. But this time there is a requirement for entry.

SEPTEMBER DRAWING RULES:
In order to qualify for the September drawing you must invite a friend to either:
a. sign up for my online newsletter or
b. visit my blog and post a comment

As soon as your friend does one of those two things, email me at SaintJohn@aol.com and let me know it was you who sent them, and I will place your name in the newly-emptied-and-ready-for more-fun fish bowl! At the end of September, I will draw one name and that person will receive:

~ a vintage gold-trimmed Enesco cup & saucer with a violet motif from my personal collection
~ a package of Gormly's Traditional English Raspberry Almond Scone Mix and
~ 3 signed Special Editions
* THE TRUTH ABOUT TOBY
* CHARLIE'S ANGELS
* NICK ALL NIGHT

When my mom told me she'd discovered doubles among her CSJ collection and asked me if I wanted to give them to someone, I replied, "I sure do!"

Q. Can you invite more than one friend and have your name entered more than once!
A. Of course!

Q. Can your friend invite a friend and enter her name, too?
A. Of course!

Q. If you've already won a previous drawing, are you eligible?
A. Yes!

Q. Can you drink tea from this cup?
A. I promise to dust before mailing.

Q. Do I love my readers?
A. Duh.

So, make a list of your reader friends and let them know about the good times rolling here.
Readers can sign up for my newsletter two ways: right here at the bottom of this page...
or from my website: http://www.tlt.com.authors.cstjohn.htm

  1. Have those 3 books signed already, BUT could gift to my sister and LOVE violets & any purple flowers so cup/set would have special sentiment coming from your shelf, raspberry is my favorite flavor (tied with peach) and don't often get scones even with Robert being English. So I better get crackin'!!
    Let's see how good we are at promoting on the internet grapevine; we're doing our friends & family a favor by introducing them to CSJ, right ladies? Finished His Secondhand Wife last night. You can tell how much I identify with the experiences by how many pages I dog-ear--30 of 296 means it touched me!! Now to read Sweet Annie, even if out of sequence.

  7. I have to say this is a great idea to get the word out there about your books. I would never have know about them if a friend hadn't emailed to leave a comment for her. Now I'm headed out for someone to do it for me!

    You can find my entire booklist in the archived posts to the right side. These bookworms nagged me until I posted it.
