Your nature photos are lovely; as a photographer myself, I can appreciate the time and effort that went into shooting that hummingbird. You have to be on the ball to catch those little guys! Great website, Cheryl, and very interetsting blog. Cheers, Linda Jett Tallahassee, Florida
Hi, Cheryl...I enjoyed my visit to your blog. Loved the pictures...very vivid colors. And the pictures of your kids are adorable. Very nice photography. Thanks for the visit!
Becka, thanks for the laugh & glad Mel asked; guess I'm too tired to pick up on Bible reference. Does anyone remember chocolate covered ants & grasshoppers? I wasn't brave enough, had some friends who tried them. Yuck!
Linda J Our son David just started college at FAMU on Navy ROTC scholarship. We'll have to talk more. His father drove him down from Nebraska, no room for me in the station wagon; my only exposure to FL is 4 days in Orlando, 3 with rain, 2 yrs ago.
Cheryl Our English Setter puppy chases butterflies & leaps in the air like a ballet dancer. He's too quick for video! But he will be a great hunting dog; he does know how to stay still & point.
"eating locusts and honey" UGH! *g* Thanks for splainin' that to me, Becka. I'm so glad you've joined us in Cheryl's blog! LL, I remember chocolate covered insects. Never had them. ACK! Hi Pat! Hi Lauren!
Beautiful hummingbird. ACK! Is that a cricket? YUCKO! LOL!
ReplyDeleteClick on the pic to make it big, Mel. It's a gresshopper. The dog chasing them is just hilarious. I need video for that.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Such vivid colors.
ReplyDeleteDear Lord, that's not a grasshopper, that's a locust! **shudder** LOL
ReplyDeleteGot some honey?

My mom loves hummingbirds. I think she needs to come visit your house. Email her and tell her that, would ya?! :giggle:
ReplyDeleteLOL Mel. Some Biblical humor there. Supposedly, John the Baptist survived hunger in the wilderness by eating locusts and honey. :P
