I tend to not remember everything I hear, say or do. Imagine that. Turns out I planted a squash right beside my ornamental gourds. I think I've created Frankensquash! Take a look at this elongated "acorn squash" with bumps! How funny is that? Cross pollination? I must assume so.
These are the front yard pumpkins! And the first ornamental gourds.
You are a biologist in the making! :)
ReplyDeleteI think they all look great! lol
ReplyDeleteGreat gourds Cheryl! The pumpkins look good too. Unfortunately they make me realize summer is nearing an end.
ReplyDeletewow you have so many I took all my out because of the yard they were taking over the whole yard. It does look like Summer is over and that makes me very sick.. I would love to enjoy Fall but I can't because I don't like Winter.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Mickey. I think falls colors are beautiful but all I can think about is the snow & ice that are about to arrive. I do NOT like driving in that stuff. Now if only I were independently wealthy and didn't have to work.....
ReplyDeleteThey have taken over my front yard, and all from a volunteer from last year's fall display.
ReplyDeleteDang, Cheryl! What are you feeding those babies? lol! Between the pumpkins the squash looks like a nose. The pumpkins are fantastic! I love Halloween. My favorite holiday. Squash on! Hee.
