I'm so bad. I just don't watch very much tv anymore. You'll have to give me the scoop on it. BTW, Sarah saw the pic of the "cowboys" and wants me to print it for her. She's very into horses right now! Along with hedgehogs, moles, shrews, porcupines, and armadillos.
I watched it all. All three nights and I was totally engrossed in the six hours. I thought the acting very good, the story well done, the sets and scenery amazing and here's the BUT.
The ending left me cold. It ended on such a sad note. No one in that story had a Happily Ever After. Not one character. It's the romantic in me that wanted to see some happiness for someone.
What did you think? Did you like it, even the ending?
Charlene, I had to get it all straight in my head. Dead Man's Walk was before this. Gus and Clara met then. Lonesome Dove comes after, chronologically. I need to see in what order LM wrote these, because I don't think he left himself much wiggle room for happy endings anywhere!
I taped all three nights and have watched about 1/2. I am enjoying it.
