Congratulations
Cheryl, for your anniversary month.
Seven years of blogging, and, more importantly (ahem) years of marriage.
This month I'm
also celebrating...for the first time ever, I'm going to be visiting the United States! While my children
were small, family holidays were always on a budget. Living in the UK, we had plenty of camping
holidays in Cornwall.
Later, we saved up
and got a caravan, and towed it across the channel to France. We loved the beaches on the Vendee best. One year we got more adventurous, and towed
all the way to the South of France - Perpignan,
which is on the border with Spain. But we always went in July, because it was
during school summer holidays. And we
always tried to get over there for the 14th - Bastille Day when every town has
the most amazing fireworks display.
Well, now the
children have flown the nest, and we can venture further afield...even get on a
plane (gasp!) That is actually my
suitcase going up the ramp to the cargo hold...yes, the bright pink one.
I'm taking the
opportunity to come to the RWA convention at Anaheim later this month. I'm so looking forward to meeting the many
friends I've made through publishing with Harlequin "in the flesh"
I'm also
celebrating the release of my 9th book with Harlequin Mills & Boon -
"An Escapade and an Engagement"
I'd love to give away a copy to one reader who posts a comment on
Cheryl's blog today. (Please include an email address so Cheryl can contact you.)
So, plenty to
celebrate all round this month!
Hope you and all
your readers enjoy it too, Cheryl.
Annie, Sounds like you're going to have a great adventure! I'm not a Harlequin author, but perhaps I'll see you at National!
ReplyDeleteLove your pink suitcase! I have a purple one. :)
Annie, how great. Welcome to America. My family was stationed in England in the mid 80's and we had a volkswagon Van with pop up top we would travel in across England and the continent in
ReplyDeleteAnnie, Congratulation on the release of your 9th book "An Escapade and an Engagement" with Harlequin Mills & Boon. Hope you enjoy your visit here in the United States.

I hope you'll enjoy your American Adventures as much as your European ones. I also love the pink suitcase, but mine is bright purple.

thanks for all your comments. Be sure to come and say hello if you spot me at Nationals, Lizzie.
ReplyDeleteRobyn - funnily enough I've just bought a purple suitcase today. Won't match my pink one, but I'll be sure to see them coming round the luggage carousel!
