This weekend Mary Connealy, Julie Miller, Bobbi Smith and I signed our new books at Dog-eared Books in Independence, Missouri - it's a Kansas City suburb. Tina, the owner of the store, told me the cup & saucer pictured here are like her grandmother's set. She only completed her china set after a great deal of searching - and she told me she finally spent something like $139 on the salt and pepper shakers to finish out her set. I thought that was a fun bit of trivia for you.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Everyone! Sorry I'm so late getting to it, I've just nicely gotten home from helping my mother-in-law with some yard work. It was a long, but rewarding day. Next week, we'll tackle our yard work. Many hands make light work, as they say!
