I drew names from the fishbowl for surprise books!

Here are the names I drew, and if you already have the book I drew your name for, let me know so I can substitute:

Jennifer Y: SANDWICHED, Jennifer Archer
Meljprincess: PALE IMMORTAL, Anne Frasier
Nickol: COME OCTOBER: Patricia Kay

I'll mail them out later this week to give you time to respond.

  1. WOW! Thanks...I didn't even realize you were having a giveaway...guess that is why you called it a surprise...hmmm. Do you still have my address?

Oh, and I was wondering is Nick All Night out of print?

  2. Jennifer, this time I saved addresses of my blog buddies, so I have them handy!

amazon shows new copies of NICK ALL NIGHT available here:

  3. Thanks Cheryl! I didn't check there...although I haven't had the best luck with them when it says books ship within 2-3 weeks. LOL

Oh well...will add it to the wishlist.

  4. Thanks for stopping by, Anne! We love you here! Now you have me waiting for the sequel to Pale Immortal.

  5. cheryl, that's so nice! i miss running into you at events!

the sequel to pale immortal won't be out for a looonnggg time. (October 2007 right now.)

  6. WOW! What a nice surprise. I was going to buy PALE IMMORTAL but I'm glad I held off. I just know there's some psychic connection between us, Cheryl. *g* Thank you so much!
I'll send you a seperate e-mail about this and NICK later. I'm very sick and have to see my doctor this morning.
Hi Anne, thanks heaps. I want to read PI so badly and I'm thrilled I won!
    Congrats Nickol and Jenn!

  7. I know, Anne, I haven't seen you for a l-o-ong time. This past summer I went back and re-read a few of my favorites and many of yours are right up there with the others on my keeper shelf. Some are even autographed! I think I re-read three of yours.

I guess I'll have to wait for that sequel. But Bernadette (remember her?) is waiting to read PI until the next one comes out! You know those crazy readers who save up a series and read it all at once? LOL

Sorry to hear you're sick, Mel. Get better fast! We miss you when you're under the weather. Here's my remedy: chicken soup and a good book. Gee, you'll be getting one of those in the mail this week!

  8. Wow! Thanks....the post office is going to love me.

    Congratulations to the other winners.

  9. Congrats all you lucky winners. With weather like it is, it is a good time to lay and read a good book.

  10. Congratulations to the lucky winners!

I love looking at your beautiful photos, Cheryl.

I've been doing some extra babysitting for my daughter. The two youngest have been sick and she needed to get out of the house to grocery shop etc. She also has to drop off the older kids at their activites and it's hard when you have the little ones at home sick.

  11. Hope the little ones are better asap, Carol! Poor babies.

And poor mom--you are a BLESSING to help her so she can get out of the house.

  12. Thanks, Cheryl.

With six kids she does need to get out! lol Every other week she volunteers at her daughters' school library so I babysit then, too. She is a teacher and she likes to keep in touch with what is going on in the schools. Maybe someday she will get back into teaching.

  13. Cheryl, I have to tell you from when I won the contest I recieved that beautiful necklace and books and polish. And everythime I wear the necklace everyone asks me where I got it, I tell them I won it from a very special person. I am shocked how often my family even asks me where it came from. It is quite the Gem! It looks great with all the new cloths my family has been buying me for my bithday. The big day is coming closer. I just wanted you to know how wonderful the jewlery is. The book was great too I read it in one day.

  14. I'm so excited to hear that, Brenda! Thanks for letting me know how much you enjoy the necklace and how many compliments you get when you wear it.
