American Idol: Goodbye Lacey
I wasn't broken-hearted. I wasn't even mildly affected. At first I wondered what was wrong with people when she was in the bottom three and they kept the likes of Tim Urban, but then when Lacey sang, I just plain didn't care. She wasn't that great. There are really only maybe three really good singers, and the rest of this is just idol time (pun intended), waiting for the others to be eliminated.

Totally with you on this one Cheryl. Mike Lynche is the only one who is remotely talented. Bowersocks is talented but I can't get past her sloppy appearance. Sigh. Underwhelmed this year.
ReplyDeleteI like Didi. I think she's got an interesting singing style.

I love Lacey. She's not tops, but hated to see her go. She's got a unique voice that I think will go far.
ReplyDeleteDidn't care for Lacey's 'unique' voice, so wasn't sad. I did, oddly enough, kinda like Tim's song--reminded me a bit of Jason (with the dreads) from a couple seasons back--really switching something around. And, the stylists calmed Tim's 'brady bunch' hair down a bit.
