I just love this cover. Doesn't it remind you of Spring with those gorgeous colors??
I'm going to give one of you--my blogger buddies--a copy of
The Betrothal. Terri Brisbin's story is nominated for a Rio award and Joanne Rock's is a RITA finalist. Joanne has autographed this copy! I'll draw a name on Friday.
The cover reminds me more of the summer than spring. Now that I look outside my window, well, it doesn't look very pretty just yet.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover and would love to win the book. Joanne is responsible for putting my proposal in RT Bookclub.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful cover! I enjoy both Terri and Joanne's books. I've never read anything by Miranda though. I would love to read The Betrothal.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful cover. I love the Harlequin Historicals!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely cover and I love Terri's and Joanne's historicals. Like Carol, I don't think I've read Miranda's work before but I wouldn't mind starting with this book.
ReplyDeleteCheryl won't be surprised to hear I have 5-8 of Miranda's but it has been several years since I read them; have 2-3 of Terri's (unread-gasp). I too love historicals and have 60-80 signed books of various genres & treasure them all! Some discovered in thrift stores, especially older ones; many from authors' signings. I should be a librarian! I collect kids', young adult, spiritual/religious, detective/mystery (but not slasher or vampire unless my favorite authors branch out), etc. Heard from Debbie Macomber's assistant recently when I said I was coming to WA state 8/07 for hubbies high school reunion (# not shared). I want to see how many authors I can meet while we are there; Susan Wiggs etc. So I have time to find who is near Arlington, N of Seattle. So Cheryl, "pick me, pick me," as the kids say. But I am lucky and if I don't will this time, I will eventually.
