My son has juvenile diabetes. I heart this woman.
Yes, she represents a great cause!
Phyl, have you ever read any books by Lurlene McDaniel? she started writing young adults novels for teens in 1985 because her son had JD; most of her main characters have a chronic or potential life-threatening disease or health issue like cancer, diabetes, and organ failure. I have many of her books; no surprise to CSJ.

Yes, Cheryl, catchy song and wonderful series. Can you believe I missed the first season because it was so popular, I didn't join the crowd? I kinda go for the underdog.
She still has a great smile and teeth!
