I love contests as much as I love lists! LOL

Here's my new one:
Make a list of the top ten things you're thankful for right here in the comment section of this post.
On Thanksgiving Day, I'll have my family read them all and select the one they like the best.
Sound fun? I think so.

What to win, what to win...hmmm...well, those autographed books were pretty popular.
The winner recieves the book of their choice from my backlist.

    1. My children. I have two happy, healthy, beautiful, bright children who are the center of my world.
    2. My husband. I have a wonderful husband who is also a good father to those two awesome children.
    3. My faith. I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for my belief that God loves us and will get us through the tough times.
    4. My home. It's no mansion. At times it seems way too small and there are lots of things about it that I would like to improve, but it's mine and it's a safe, warm, comfortable place. There's no place like home.
    5. My job. It doesn't pay a much, but it's steady. I'm in a position where I can often help people. It's nice to go home at the end of the day feeling like you made a difference in someone's life.
    5. My family. In addition to my husband and children, I've been blessed with siblings and other relations that love me. One in particular is my grandmother. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be like her when I grew up. Now she and I keep in touch through email and she is 85 years old. I still want to be like her when I grow up.
    6. My friends. I'm usually a pretty optomistic person, so I don't often need anyone to lean on. But I know if I do, those friends are there. The send me funny emails and stop by just to say "hi." They keep me smiling.
    7. My imagination. God has blessed me with a great way to see the world. Life would be so dull without it.
    8. My past. I've lived through some terrible things, but God and his angels helped me through and made me a stronger, better person for it.
    9. My present. Every day is another opportunity to spend time with my family and friends and tell them how much they mean to me.
    10. My future. The promise of tomorrow is a powerful thing. It gives me goals, hopes, and dreams. What would life be about without those?
