CLASS I RECALL NOTICE – McCormick Fajitas Seasoning Mix 1.12 OZ

McCormick & Company, Incorporated has identified a mislabeling problem involving McCormick Fajitas Seasoning Mix. An investigation has shown that an error occurred during manufacturing that resulted in Brown Gravy mix being incorrectly packed into Fajitas Seasoning Mix packaging materials. The Brown Gravy mix contains wheat and milk ingredients that are not declared on the packaging. People who have allergies to wheat or milk run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product. McCormick considers this market action to be a Class I designation and FDA has been made aware of the recall. Therefore, we are conducting an immediate voluntary product recall. McCormick urges your company to place an immediate hold on all inventories of the item listed above. Please immediately remove these products from sale and destroy these products in a manner that would prevent any further consumption.
