Like I said, this is extremely unusual. Spring, no rain with low water levels in lakes and ponds. The gators are on the move. OH, and they're building everywhere and chasing the wildlife off. Makes me sick.Meljprincesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05923768085680554717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14505413.post-1149772628673890252006-06-08T08:17:00.000-05:002006-06-08T08:17:00.000-05:00I heard about the deaths on the news. There's a lake close to my Mom's subdivision and the gators come into the retention pond every spring. Once I saw a bunch of babies. My Mom called the gator wranglers and they came out to get them. Nobody was home but me when they arrived and I got to hold one. It was about 4 feet long and it was awesome! I know lots about gators. Living in FL you learn a few things. When I went in May there had been three deaths in two weeks. Highly unusual. Did ya'll hear about them? Tourists don't understand that it's mating season and the gators are on the prowl.

That's very sweet, Carol! I'm glad you liked the postcard. :-)

Btw, I do an excellent imitation of the gator mating call. lol!Meljprincesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05923768085680554717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14505413.post-1149645769627065352006-06-06T21:02:00.000-05:002006-06-06T21:02:00.000-05:00LOL!
