LoRee Peery: Treasured Memories

Sometimes, it's not about the book(s), but it's about family. More than my book releases, I value how my loved ones have responded to me as an author.
We had a scrapbooking day to celebrate my first sale.
Daughters and Granddaughters made signed pages. The love of my family touches me more than what is actually on those scrapbook pages.

The day of my signing, my husband put together a grand family surprise. Balloons, food, a signed tribute, and tons of love for Mom and Grandma...I am a blessed woman!

  1. Hi LoRee, it sounds like you have a wonderful loving family-you are so right they are worth more then silver and gold. I come from a large family and treasure the time I get to see some of them. we all live far apart in different states. thanks for sharing today on Cheryl's site.

  8. Thanks everyone!
Robyn, I LOVE my family. Liz, I appreciate your support as well. Oscar, I used to work in Modern Languages at UNL and enjoyed hearing Portuguese spoken. Becky, I asked my "girls" to help with the scrapbook because Americans have lost the days when women worked together on a project. And we're so scattered anymore, memories are precious and can be far between.
