And so it begins

I'm currently working on chapters to sell Elisabeth's story - the oldest daughter from The Preacher's Wife. It's so much fun! She wants a man just like dear old dad and Gabe Taggart is NOTHING like Sam.

heh heh heh

I've had SO much good mail from The Preacher's Wife--thank you, thank you! (I'm kind of surprised that there are only a couple of reviews or comments on the amazon page.) So it's exciting to be writing a sequel. So many readers want the story to continue--and it will. At left is Sam and Josie's house in COlorado--the house where Elisabeth still lives with her family when this story starts.

  2. Cheryl I would post a review for you but I am not a good writer and I would want it to be something wonderful, because your book gives a person so many different feelings.

  3. Cheryl, is that house in Livingston by any chance. We drove through the town once and I remember that is what a lot of the houses looked like. Isn't that where Doc Holliday is buried?

  4. Georgetown, Judy. I imagine many of the homes are similar.

  5. Cheryl, I really enjoyed The Preacher's Wife and can hardly wait for Elizabeth's story. I can just see her standing at the window, fan in hand, watching for her beau, or saying good bye to her friends at the gate, parasol in hand.

  9. What a charming house. We lived in Colorado Springs for 3 years and loved every minute of it. There are so many lovely old victorians in the state. Have read many of your books and enjoyed every one of them. Keep up the wonderful writing.
