Chug that water!

One glass of water shuts down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University study.

Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.

A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen.

Drinking 5 glasses of water daily & decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?

  1. Cheryl this is so strange that you posted this and believe me this is all true. I had a tons of these problems because I go so dehydrated. I was having memory problems and couldn't focus on the computer screen. Water is very important I can't seem to drink anything else except some hot tea but only water most of the time.

  3. This past Saturday I spent several hours away from home. I was just walking around a flea market, and doing other shopping, but became exhausted. I thought about what I'd taken in (burgers and fries, lots of coffee) and decided I might be dehydrated. I bought a 32 ounce sports drink and drank it all in about ten minutes--amazing for me! I felt so much better!

Now I will carry a bottle of water in the drink holder of my Jeep all the time, so I'm prepared for that type of event.

    Timely post, Cheryl!

  5. Cheryl,

I bought a birthday gift for my Conscience (aka cousin, Shannon). Can't say what it is, though, until she opens it in December. Sorry.

The flea market was just an outing. We have a house full of stuff, so weren't really looking for anything.

    The best part was people-watching!
