  1. So, if I'm looking for a home in Millard I should be suspicious of "new roof!"

  3. On this night there were no serious injuries, only a few cuts. But several nights later, a boy scout camp was hit - the tornado directly hit the shelter, and four youth were killed. Very sad.

  4. Very scary. Dennis & I almost bought a farmhouse right next to the boyscout camp. We found out that we had to move to Washington (where we don't have tornadoes), so we obviously didn't buy it.

So tragic, those young boys. And the heroic stories that were told by the survivors were amazing.

  5. Betsy, my cousin's 14 year old son was in the other shelter. His parents didn't know until the next morning whether or not he was okay. Now he's getting calls from as far as Sioux Falls from churches and scout groups asking him to come speak. What an opportunity!

  6. They said on the news out here that the boys at the camp were all Eagle Scouts or in leadership in some way.

I'm so glad your cousins son was okay. And you're right, it is a great opportunity to speak to others.
