First Day of Spring

Switched on the weather channel to see the flooding in Missouri. They predicted snow for Chicago, and it's gorgeous here. The mornings are barely above freezing. This morning was 33, but by noon it's great. This is a shot of the frost on top of my car. I've been parking in the driveway because the garage is filled with saws and wood and you-name-it.

  1. I woke up to 1 1/2 inches of snow on the ground today. Yuck! It snowed off and on all day yesterday too. None of us at the office could understand how it was snowing when the temperature at the bank sign across the street said 43 degrees!

This is just wrong! It's Easter. Time for outside egg hunts etc. They're predicting 8-12 inches in the mountains just east of us tonight. Guess I'll be staying home with a good book. I also bought "Enchanted" yesterday. This weekend will be a good time to watch that too.

  2. I think...maybe...it's time to just pick a date for Easter and stick with it. Second Sunday in April anyone??? Please????
You're not gonna see a lot of sun dresses and white shoes this Sunday, wading through the half frozen mud in the icy cold.
Most of the snow is gone though, finally.

  3. Wednesday and Thursday it was in the 40's here in Michigan. Friday, we had a severe snow storm watch, and today we have a few inches of snow on the ground! That's Michigan weather!
