Crockpot Recipes

This is a two-cupcake cake that Kristin bought for Elijah. Isn't it adorable?

I've posted new crockpot recipes at the Recipe Archives
If you have a favorite crockpot recipe, send it to me!
I use them for Sunday dinners.

I'm busy writing and have been for several weeks. The book is nearly finished and I really like it. It's called A Hero's Embrace.

  1. Cheryl that cake is adorable. I love the recipes you have been putting on the blog. I have had the meatloaf and it is good.

  3. I like a cake that is just a reason for frosting :)

  4. Great cake! Was the frosting chocolate? That's the only reason to eat cake you know, if it's all chocolate!

We spent the weekend in Montana with the grandbabies. My daughter-in-law made a 1st birthday cake for Caleb that looked exactly like Tigger. She's such a perfectionist it took her 6 1/2 hours just to decorate it but it looked great. I wish I had taken a picture. oops!

  5. A few years ago I went through mountainous stacks of photos and threw away &%% years worth of pictures of birthday cakes. At that moment I vowed to never again take a picture of a cake.

Guess I blew it with the monkey. LOL

  6. Cheryl, CUTE monkey, perfect for Curious George fans, kids who are/were very active/climbers (my aunt & me! LOL) those who prefer frosting with their cake (Yeah, Rebecca!) Glad you broke your vow. Have a woman minister teacher who decorates cakes professionally; she's a renaissance woman like you!!

Brenda/Mickey congrats!! I had to "adopt" girls at church when I was blessed with boys only and now the same with (grand)babies as no prospects in sight (and no hurry on my part for their sake) from my 2 sons. I just think the word GRAND says it all!!

The only way I resembled VB was in the dark hair department. She was cute as a button and sexy. May have to check it out. Thanks for the review/recommendation.
