Planters Unibrow Commercial

This was by far my favorite of the Superbowl commercials, but that's not to say there were many good ones. In our supreme disappointment, Kristin asked the best question: "Are the commerical writers on strike too?"

  1. I didn't get the connection between the Peanuts the girl. Did she smell like peanuts and that's the reason for her popularity? It wasn't until the end that I realized it was a peanut commercial. I loved the Clydesdale Bud horses...my favorite. My dh like the talking stain for Tide Stick- I thought it would be better if it were two women. Men could care less about a stain on a shirt, IMHO. But then, aren't we such critics?

  2. She dabbed a cashew behind her ears and into her cleavage like perfume. Pure silly.

  3. Nope, while this one was funny, I think the best was the e-trade baby doing stock trades. Especially the 2nd one where he used his 'wealth' to hire a clown--not knowing how freakishly scary it would be. I crack up thinking about it.

  4. Yeah, I didn't like it either. Maybe next year they'll spritz an ugly dude with chocolate and let a bunch of supermodels fawn over him :)

I'm with Robyn! I liked the baby not realizing how scary the clown would be. (The barf - not so much)

That's the wonderful thing about the Super Bowl though, there's a little something for everybody!
