Happy New Year!

Thanks to each of you who helped to make 2007 such a successful blogging year. It was a year filled with many challenges, a few high and lows, and I'm glad to put it behind and move forward.

One of my goals was to increase activity and interest here, and I feel good about what I did with that. Let me know the things you enjoyed most, and we'll do more of those in 2008.

Later today I'll talk more about goal setting.
Here's to a healthy and prosperous new year!

  4. Of course I love everything about your blog- we are soul sisters!

Thoughts for the New Year (or any day)from magnets bought at Polly's Books in LaVista:

Never live in the past but always learn from it.

What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail???

Maybe we should take pics of fridges next? or share favorite quotes, sayings, scripture?

Really enjoyed the Christmas trees as I didn't get ours up this year; David spent every night at friends' homes due no car & Brian was working 6 days a week; if we hadn't met at restaurants for David's return & bday & Xmas at home, might not have seen them at all. Just another passage.

  5. LOL -- I DID think about pictures of the fridges, but thought that might be just too cruel. LOL

Anyone who dares, send me a pic of their fridge!

  6. Cheryl love your blog we have all learned something from it. I did get a surprise for Christmas Eve my bedroom was almost done ready enough to move into and hubby moved the bed and got it set up it was wonderful I cried I had waited long enough and that is all I asked for for Christmas and he came through. I hope you have a great New Year! And sell tons of books.
As for the picture of the fridge I think I will pass and just enjoy all the others.

  7. Awesome, Brenda! So glad you're bedroom is finished. Jay is sanding drywall seams today, so my kitchen is coming along.

    LOL on the fridge.
I don't know if even I dare show mine. But then again...maybe I will.

  8. You're an inspiration Cheryl.

My favorite part of the blog is learning about your new books and discovering previous books.

My second favorite part of the blog is getting to meet other authors and hear about their upcoming books.

  11. Cheryl, somehow I missed 8 of your entries between the fireworks and the You tube. So it is even funnier about thinking of fridge photos!!! ROFL, ROFL, ROFL over and over like a dog!
THOROUGHLY cleaned my kitchen on Christmas day since we celebrated 2days early; when children are 20 & 25, you don't have to wait for Santa :(
Spouse moved fridge, I moved stove (first time in 18 mo. due now-healed back problem; Did I mention being domestically challenged?!) Anyway, enjoyed having clean white space for a week, then put magnets back up-took 25 min to get them arranged just right! LOL So pic soon.
Lest you think I didn't enjoy Xmas day, besides washing 2 loads of laundry, I took TWO naps and watched a movie! The only lack was a good CSJ book and fire in the fireplace! Even had eggnog & Amaretto since no driving.

  12. Lou Ann, that was me - I kept the fireworks & happy new year at the top and kept adding underneath it for the day.

I took all the stuff off my fridge a while back, too, but it's BA-A-A-ACK.
