Christmas Stories Drawing

See this neat little pile of seven books on my desktop in between printers (and in front of the pics of the best looking kids on the planet)? I'm going to give them away this week. Friday is the biggest Christmas shopping day of the year, and I'm getting into the gift-giving spirit.

Every comment on my blog this week is an entry into the fishbowl. I'll draw names on Friday - in between shopping trips.

It's beginning to look....and all that.

  1. OOOOH! What a cool giveaway!

You know, I don't think I have ever been shopping on the day after Thanksgiving...I am not one for crowds.

  2. Oh, and I meant to say that that is the coolest picture frame...how cute all the kiddies look. I might have to try and find my mom one like it.

  3. I am not one for crowds either. I don't know why that day appeals to me. Some years I stay home, some years I'm out at 6 am with the crazies.

Isn't it the coolest frame? It is PUURFECT because there are exactly nine spots - exactly how many babies I have.

I'm entering all your posts in the drawing, Jennifer. Smooches!

  4. Yeah Cheryl! Please enter me into your drawing. I'm all done shopping. Dennis & I marathon shopped this weekend with my list. Now I can go enjoy the crowds instead of feeling pressured.

  5. Put my name in the hopper-all 7 look like great titles!
I'll be working 9-3 pm at Borders that Fri & Sat so we'll see how many think books, music and movies are wonderful Christmas gifts, with a cafe to relax in between. I don't do crowds either when I am shopping; whereas my hubby is out on Christmas Eve with all the last minute shoppers. Although he did arrive once on Black Fri at 5 am to get GREAT computer deals and save my BIL $1000.

  7. Love the frame, the pictures and the books! Especially love something I get for free. My daughters, my best friend and her daughters and my daughter in law all hit the stores in Grand Island early Friday traveling to Kearney before the day is over. We have a ball and this year we are wearing buttons that say "Remember as far as anyone knows our family is NORMAL. One year I made buttons for my young granddaughters that read "Shopper in training" Yep love the time spent with some of my favorite people!

  9. This will be the first year I will be out with the whole family I mean aunts, mom, daughters and nieces, sister in law. This should be interesting. I usually only do it with the girls so this should be fun, plus hubby is coming I am not sure he knows what he is getting into.

    I love contests!!!!!!!!!

  12. Cool Cheryl! And that is great that it fits all your babies in it.

I thought that might be all of them as I was looking at them.

And I am usually going to bed at 6 am...not getting up to shop...LOL. We'll be at my brother's house this year...hope they don't plan to go out to shop...they might leave me with all the kiddies...LOL

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  14. You know Cheryl, Kohls opens at 4AM Friday, don't you? Told Steve, NO WAY!!! The picture frame is cool. Lou I know about the husband that waits until December 24th to shop and then goes late and finds the stores closed or very picked over. LOL. Love new books, Cheryl!!! Happy Thanksgiving All!!!

  16. What adorable pictures!

    And, what a generous giveaway.

I don't do shopping the day after Thanksgiving anymore. I used to with my Mom and sisters, and my sisters still go together, but, I get too anxious with the crowds anymore.

No shopping for me on Friday - I'm not a crowd-loving person.
