COMMENT CHALLENGE

The maps to the right in this blog keep track of all the visits. Yesterday 112 visits were reported, including 2 from Finland, one from England and many from all over the US.

Just for fun, I'd like to ask that if you're stopping by this blog today, will you PLEASE leave a few words in a comment just so we know who you are (even if you're anonymous)? If you gave a general location of your home town that would be awesome.

And, you're invited to join us on our retreat to Finland. I've asked Eric, and he says he'll come along to shop for groceries and cook, so we don't even have to worry about that.

  6. Hi Cheryl and all, I'm cooling off with a beer (rare for me) in the air conditioning before I brave the heat on the deck in the shade of the forest on the edge of the golf course at Buccaneer Bay across the creek past the sod farm south of the Platte river, Offutt AFB & Omaha, NE! LOL
I've been quiet since I STILL haven't solved the mystery of needing to sign up every time I blog so I read daily, but comment seldom. Cheryl hears from me occasionally by email so may ask her to forward til I can get this dilemma solved. David is home from college in FL for 4-5 wks so may give him the assignment, if he choses to accept the challenge!

  11. Mickey, email me about your job search; we can share leads. Good to know your location.
I am looking again as what I found doesn't have great benefits YET. LOVE the job, but few hours this summer & my other PT job has fluctuated hours as well. FEAST or famine. :( Grateful they let me have time off for exercise classes at the Sarpy Y so I have been pain free for 10 days after a YEAR of trial & error dealing with back pain. Thank God it was muscle and not bone. :):)

Andrea, I work in Papillion at the new Borders at Shadow Lake- look me up! As my hubby says, it's like having a heroine addict in a crack house! LOL They unloaded more than 3 semi's of books; I directed traffic to spare my back and sorted/shelved romance novels, Christian Lit & kids books among MANY others. GREAT employees and
good location; do have some hopes for internal advancement, but not counting on it.

Betsy, on 12 trips to Seattle, we've driven thru Spokane 6 times. LOVELY memories! Didn't know WA state had a desert beyond Spokane.

  12. Hi Lou, people think all it does in Washington is rain, like Seattle. We do actually have a desert between us and Seattle. I LOVE Spokane but miss all of our family and friends, (like Cheryl) in Omaha. It was blue, blue sky and 74 here today. (and the best part is no humidity!)

  15. Glad you're back too Lou. Been asking Cheryl about you. No humidity? WOW! Sure would be nice! Not bad out there today. I agree Cheryl, it is fun to see where everyone is from and find old friends!
