Bleeding Heart


Isn't this amazing? I love the bright pink against the background of the ferns. These grow on the north side of my house.

    Around here that flower is called "broken heart".

    Great color contrast. My neighbor's bush is a MOST PLEASANT childhood memory; teachers loved when we brought lilacs & pussy willows to school from our backyard. Almost got some from a freecycler but no time to dig! :(
