Let's make a Deal!

What does this picture have to do with today's blog? Well, it got your attention, didn't it?
I've done many different types of things to promote my books over the years. I've sent review copies to bookstores and to libraries and reviewers. I never know how much good it does, but I'm always open to change and to trying something new. I have a deal for you this week. Instead of a contest, I'm making this offer:

If you agree to write and post a review of The Preacher's Daughter at amazon.com and barnes&noble.com, I will send you an advance copy of the book. Autographed. One of my personal author copies.

Five is a good number, don't you think?

I will send books to the first FIVE people who post here and agree to write reviews.

  1. Cheryl, I will go to both of the book sites for you and leave review. This is better then a contest we both get something from it.

I am not sure what is wrong with this blog but I am not able to get into it without a bunch of trouble. Oh man I want to scream, how about you Lou how is it going for you??

  2. I would be more than glad to do that, Cheryl, and I'm a bookseller so can recommend to my customers in person too. :-)

  3. Oh yes I wanted to tell you I like the new picture on the blog. I was trying to write you about it last week but the blog would not work.

  4. I am so sorry you are having problems with the blog! Is it only mine? Can you post to another on blogspot without trouble? I know Lou has been having trouble, too. There is a whole new look they've wanted me to update, too, but I've resisted because I don't want to lose formatting, but maybe I should make the upgrade.

Mickey, you are Brenda, right? And Karen W I have you as a Florida girl, right? Will send both of youor books out.

    That's two.

  5. Cheryl,

I will write a review for you. More than happy to since I have a chance at a couple of your books. They are hard to find out here.

  6. Cheryl, I don't blog elsewhere yet, but this one tells me incorrect password so I have had to re-sign in every time for 2-3 wks so haven't commented a couple of times.
Also, I'm getting autographed copy for being one of first five on 4/14 so will give others a chance as I have 2 more of yours in my TBR pile. And just told ArmchairInterviews no reviews til I'm employed FT with benefits. But would be happy to post one when I do.
Karen, what part of FL are you in? Just returned from 2400 mile drive round trip from Nebraska to pick up son at FAMU in Tallahassee.
Hope to hear from Mel soon; she's in FL now, too. Pray she is well.
Brenda/Mickey: I totally agree!! The new pic is a HOT grandma; Cheryl, in leather, some author could use you for the cover inspiration of the feisty heroine who is ripe for reform! (But the hero wouldn't want TOO much change!! LOL) Is this the one the publishers haven't switched to yet?

  7. Cheryl, yes Brenda is Mickey I have had to change my blog name a few times to get into it. I do blog on a few other sites and I am having the same problem. I am so excited about getting another book from you, I just can't put your books down until I am done and then can't wait for the next one.
Lou I am glad that you made it back from your trip. Mel I hope you are all settled in Florida now it has been a while since we have heard from you.

  9. All right, Brenda! Praise God! I can't see anything on my end to do differently, so it makes me feel better (SORRY!) to know there is a problem on other blogs, too.

  10. Cheryl, I think they call that photo "eye-candy"; red draws the eye and the men are easy on my eyes.

Betsy, where are you located that CSJ books are difficult to locate?
If you are only missing a few, maybe I can help. My other nickname is "gleaner"; I have an uncanny knack for locating items people are seeking. Cheryl has my email adrs if you want to send me a note rather than posting it here.
