Update on the remodel

BEFORE
This wall is GONE, and all the junk is packed away. The antique sideboard you see has become my kitchen island.

BEFORE
The window you see here is gone and a door is in its place.
See below for the "during" picture.

DURING
More drywall getting ripped out above the new door. There used to be a window there.

  1. Bet it will be beautiful when done; keep your chin up (as my mother used to say) during the process. Look forward to more pics from the photo pro.

Cheryl, what CAN'T you do, O Renaisance Woman? photographer, antiquer, recycler, remodeler, singer, writer, gardener, baker, plus mother, grandmother. Proverbs 31 AND Titus 2 woman, rolled into one!

  2. Golly, Lou, you make me sound bigger than life! LOL What I didn't used to be able to do was say NO, but I've gotten better over the years, though I still have to remind myself and work at it. I may seem a jack of all trades, but isn't there a master of none quote in there? **G**

  3. It looks good! I think more people are remodeling than moving. It's so much cheaper. It's nice to do, too, if you like your home and the area and you just want to make some improvements. I would love to close in my porch someday.

  6. Hey Cheryl! Yep it's me. I took a long, long overdue day off work and have been washing all the miniblinds in the house AND cleaned by kitchen cabinets out. I'm on a roll. :-) Of course, I keep check ing my computer off & on too.
