Not a joke

From my inside source at Nash Finch:

IF YOU USE PETER PAN PEANUTBUTTER AND THE NUMBER 2111 IS ON THE LID, REGARDLESS OF THE SIZE OF THE JAR. . .DO NOT USE IT!
CONAGRA IS ASKING THAT YOU DESTROY THE PEANUT BUTTER AND MAIL THE LID TO

CONAGRA FOODS
P.O. BOX 57078
IRVINE, CA 92619-7087

IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO TALK TO CONAGRA THE NUMBER IS
866-344-6970

  3. I heard about this on the news but we didn't have any. I've never liked peanut butter and my husband eats very little of it. It scares me though that these things keep happening. I was glad it wasn't the brand my daughter buys. I hope none of you got sick from it!

  4. Thanks for the heads up. My shelf only had Skippy and Wal-mart brand so I am OK.
Carol, our son threw up after eating a peanut butter sandwich when he was young so hasn't eaten it since. It's a staple for me when I am rushed & need a QUICK meal on the run: diabetes requires I NOT skip a meal.
