More about covers

Okay, I confess that on New Year's Eve I watched Terminator 1 & 2. You know the character of Kyle Reese who is John Connor's father in the future and Linda Hamilton's love interest (the guy who came from the future to save her), well I started wondering about him and googled him tonight. His name is Michael Beihn. He was in Tombstone and The Magincient Seven series and Alien and a boatload of movies.

And one fan thinks she spoted him on a couple of bookcovers. Tell me what you think:

  1. Hi Cheryl,

That is one sexy man!!! I love Terminator.

I actually ended up not doing anything on New Year's Eve except staying in bed sicker than a dog.

    Grrrr...

  7. MB does kind of look like the guy on the cover.
Oh, I can't wait to move to FL. There's so much more going on!
Yea, Karen, a pic. of you and MB in here would be very cool.

  8. I am not sure if that is him or not...

I love him though. I own the Complete collection of The Magnificent Seven series on DVD. I must say that I have never seen The Terminator movies though.

  9. Oh, and I forgot to mention Cheryl that if you are ever looking for a good cowboy hero inspiration check out MB in The Magnificent Seven series.

  10. Man he is a hottie-- makes a great cowboy! Another hottie that I found a link from another blog Matt's dead-on impression of a shirtless Matthew McConaughey-- too funny!

  11. Jennifer, I missed the series, but caught him in Tombstone recently so join you in nominating him to inspire Cheryl's next western hero. He is VERY sexy in a totally masculine way. Do like him in Terminator, also viewed not too long ago. Would need to watch both again to see if this view resembles him, though.

KAREN W; I share my luck that you will get that picture to send us!
Be still my heart. Pant, Pant! LUCKY YOU!!
Billy Jo, hope you are on the road to recovery.

  14. I have an idea. I say we all meet at Jennifer's to watch The Magnificent Seven, then we move along to Lou's for root beer floats. And wait -- then Karen packs us in her bag and takes us along for the convention where we meet Michael. If this is a virtual trip, I might as well enjoy it!

  15. Cheryl, you have such GREAT ideas!! Even though entry sign says "I cleaned my house yesterday, wished you'd seen it!" & "I'm not a poor housekeeper, just a Superb recycler" & "It's the heart that makes the home," I LOVE the idea of a virtual visit so you're ALL invited!! The floats are on me (choice diet RB or regular), Chex mix is done & still have 4 peppermint stick ice creams (I bought 3 & Robert got 2, all on special; David likes Mint Chip. LOL!) & 5 pies, down from 10.
Karen, we'll swap photos: back 1/29 from Cozumel 5 day cruise & flight to New Orleans for Bob's & my bdays.

  16. I'll be there, Lou! Save me some Chex mix.

I have a little sign that says, "A clean desk is the sign of a sick mind."

    LOL

  17. LOL Cheryl...my house is a mess, but I would be willing to travel with the Mag 7 DVDs elsewhere. There are quite a few good-looking men on that show too...

  18. I wish they would make more western tv shows. One of my faves was The Young Riders about a group of pony express riders...several good-looking men on it.

  19. Jennifer, Jennifer. This is a VIRTUAL party! You tell us your house is clean and ready for company and we BELIEVE!

I do believe, I do believe...

  20. LOL...I am afraid my cyber-lying isn't that good...LOL.

Clap your hands if you believe....LOL

Wouldn't it be cool if you could just wish the room was clean and it miraculously was?

  21. Jennifer That's why I always liked Bewitched: she could twitch her nose & it was clean OR Jeanie just crossed her arms & nodded her head to straighten things up.

Cheryl, your response "I do believe" reminds me of Judy Garland clicking her red shoes "there's no place like home."

    thoughts from a TV/movie fanatic!

  22. Lou, I was thinking the Cowardly Lion when I said it. LOL

  23. Cheryl, it's been awhile since I watched W of Oz; those flying monkeys STILL give me the heebie jeebies! :( But now I get the inference.
